Three of the runners have automatic qualification to the next round which takes place in February.
Gym Competition March 2016
'Bleary eyed, The Hawkshead School gym team set out on the morning after Young Voices to compete in The South Lakes District Key Steps Competition. We were competing alongside the top 2 teams from each school from the local competitions across South Lakes and we knew that we were amongst experienced and talented gymnasts. However, we rose to the challenge, performed our routines incredibly well and exhibited excellent sportsmanship. Despite our best efforts we finished in sixth place, but we felt proud that we had made it to the second round and given it our best shot!
